@CanalRiverTrust Do you know when the stoppage will be on Autherly stop lock on the Shropshire union to fix the balance beam. I have heard it will be sometime next week but no stoppage notice as yet and would be helpful to plan our boating.

@DaveThroup @robertajane_U I expect they will try and wriggle out of any responsibility. Their record of maintenance on the ship canal is at best poor…and that generates a fairly good return. They only brought the waterways so they could sell expensive properties overlooking them.

@CanalRiverTrust Hi. I’ve cleared a couple of fallen trees from the towpath on the worcs & Birmingham at WB-020-P0050 on the GIS map. I’ve just dragged them into the hedge line so they might need shredding etc and a couple of other small trees in the area might need attention.
