@pattihh58@BunkiePerkins People all over searching for generators. Some either couldn't financially prepare properly or didnt take the threat seriously enough to prepare properly. Help your neighbor, check on the elderly. We will get through this. But stay off X with the whiney posts.
@BunkiePerkins Worse than the 1994 ice storm, worse than Hurricane Katrina as far as people without power. Just to put it in perspective for you my man.
@BunkiePerkins Nope, but I ain't the one on X whining. I have no power or water, but went to work today to help coordinate some of this. Just a tiny cog in the machine. This is a massive operation in response to a rare event affecting about a quarter of the state.
@BunkiePerkins Did they take some to Batesville, Sardis, Corinth, Greenville, Tallahatchie county? What about Oakland? Or Drew? Pretty sure I didnt see the truck roll through Grenada.
@BunkiePerkins Explain to me how they were gonna get water there when Oxford and Lafayette county can't even clear HWY 6. Reeves just activated NG troops today. And birds are flying those supplies in right now.
@BunkiePerkins No one knew exactly where the ice line would be and if they had pre positioned supplies in Oxford, they wouldn't have even been able to get them distributed, due to conditions in the area. Obviously you've never dealt with emergency operations. Not on a scale like this.
@BunkiePerkins FEMA rolled into Camp McCain this morning and started pushing generators out today. National Guard met with Lafayette County EOC today and supplies are being flown all over north MS as I type this. I don't know what you expected. You couldn't even get to much of Oxford yesterday.
