@mayhemproto@BigMykJay@JCHawks_BBN you know damn well i have a point and you cant argue in good faith so you hide behind meaningless insults, it's ok to be wrong dude
@mayhemproto@BigMykJay@JCHawks_BBN what the fuck are you talking about?? LMAO
my point was that the game is filled to the brim with NPCs, which react uniquely to the environment. an overheating PS5 running 7 year old hardware wont be able to handle that at 60 FPS
@sneakrfreek@BigMykJay@JCHawks_BBN sorry what i meant to say is your expectations are way too high for 2020 hardware running a game with an insane amount of NPC density. PC would smash this game no doubt but consoles are just not beefy enough to handle it
@_Renazance@JCHawks_BBN the NPC density in GTA 6 probably puts massive strain on the CPU, and since consoles (or at least PS5) runs 2020 hardware, it's probably reasonable to lock it to 30 FPS
would you rather have less NPCs and less immersion just to get 60 FPS, or have the world actually feel alive?
@TylariousYT 30 FPS is generous for a massive game running on 2020 hardware assuming you're on a PS5
if you're at a steady 30 FPS that's more than enough especially for a single-player story game.
@xBlessedBot@GhostGamingG i understand that some people just have a higher sensitivity to low FPS, but no matter how you put it, a steady 30 FPS with no stuttering is objectively playable for a single-player story game. people's expectations are way too high if they think they'll get 60 FPS on a console
@Rextopiaxx i dont blame people who value FPS but if they want more than 30 FPS they can get a PC and wait 100 years for the PC port, this is a console game and no matter how you put it, consoles arent that beefy
@edwin_excell@gtasix_ well son, GTA 6 isn't coming to PC for a very long time. it's locked to 30 FPS because consoles aren't as beefy as a PC. consoles run on mid-range equivalent hardware, if R* wanted to push 60 fps for consoles they'd have to sacrifice a lot of the graphics
@edwin_excell@gtasix_ objectively untrue, especially for a singleplayer story game. RDR2 released locked at 30 FPS, and it's still one of the best games i've ever played
i get it if ur used to higher frame rates but i personally dont mind playing 30 FPS as long as it's steady
@dreyfomo emphasis on the past tense "flagged"
i also find it funny how you respond within a day just to defend yourself, chronically online bastard lmao
