I found this College Notes Book from 1927 full of experiments and its the coolest thing I've ever seen! Might be hidden technology in here who knows!

@centraausting 🤣🤣🤣🤣

[All Things Gen X! @Mastermonkdaddy]

My kids sent me this picture and I'm like "My God did you murder a Smurf?"
They said "What's a Smurf?" These kids..

[All Things Gen X! @Mastermonkdaddy]

@heyclairelin How can these kids not know what a Smurf is??

[All Things Gen X! @Mastermonkdaddy]

@Renkasha Such a good show!

[All Things Gen X! @Mastermonkdaddy]

These two guys disproved most the rumors spread by other kids throughout my entire childhood

[All Things Gen X! @Mastermonkdaddy]

@Renkasha Ive definitely put alot of hour's into the Dragon Warrior series

[All Things Gen X! @Mastermonkdaddy]

What was the first game you binged and couldnt stop?

Mine was Zelda 2 on the NES

[All Things Gen X! @Mastermonkdaddy]

@WilliamShatner @carrieffisher Hey this is my running joke! For years I've posted on FB about my annual 29th bday! Celebrated my 20th anniversary of my 29th bday this year!

[All Things Gen X! @Mastermonkdaddy]

@caniblyss420 Gauntlet was my favorite game on there. Mario Party is what we played with the kids mostly

[All Things Gen X! @Mastermonkdaddy]

@joeroganhq Go to any Walmart. Look around. Who owns majority stake in Walmart? There's your answer

[All Things Gen X! @Mastermonkdaddy]

@caniblyss420 It's definitely needed if you're playing 2 players. I have a buddy that every few years we will bust it out and do a 2 player Contra run

[All Things Gen X! @Mastermonkdaddy]

@heyclairelin It was an Xmas present and my parents let me open it the last day of school before Xmas break. I couldn't put it down but it was definitely difficult without any guides or having internet back then!

[All Things Gen X! @Mastermonkdaddy]

@caniblyss420 So using the Konami code I was able to beat it. I finally got so good I was able to beat it without using the Konami code. None of my friends believed me, so I had to keep doing it over and over to prove to all of them I could. I was a King in my neighborhood that summer!

[All Things Gen X! @Mastermonkdaddy]

@Mike_and_You I had the same type of duster. Thought it was the coolest thing. Now when I watch Grandmas Boy the line "Tell me J.P., how much do clothes cost in the Matrix" absolutely kills me

[All Things Gen X! @Mastermonkdaddy]

@Mike_and_You It never really took off as a very popular game and phased out by the late 80s but we loved it at my house

Have you ever seen this card game before?

This was my family's favorite game to play on game night!

Mhing was released in 1982 and the best way to describe it is a card game that's kind of a cross between Mahjong and Phase 10 using a point system. You are rewarded points for different sets that you place down out of your hand and it's a race to 500 points.

Like Phase 10 everyone is dealt a certain amount of cards (13), with the remaining cards left in the middle along with a discard pile. You make 'sets' in your hand by matching same suits and making runs of numbered cards.

Play begins by taking 1 card either from the discard pile or from one of the face down pile. You then discard 1 card from your hand the play goes to the next person on your left. On your turn you can lay down your sets then are allowed to play your remaining cards onto others sets that other players had laid down. You get points depending on how many in your set you were able to lay down, and you "go out" by getting rid of all the remaining cards in your hand after you completed your sets.

This game is players 10 and up as it can be a bit difficult and each game takes about an hour to finish.

Note *I typed this up from memory so if anything I said is wrong feel free to correct me

@SuzSongs My last ex was a big fan of Oliver Tree. We would hang out and blast his videos on YouTube. My musical taste is all over the place so I kinda dig him. When he passed away a few months ago it made me really sad but also flooded my memories of my ex and I kinda missed her

[All Things Gen X! @Mastermonkdaddy]

@ShowcaseRack My family had the red box. The black box was a later release I think

[All Things Gen X! @Mastermonkdaddy]

@ShowcaseRack It's a really fun game as well!

[All Things Gen X! @Mastermonkdaddy]

@narslem I love this
