@CartoonTock@MH_Oldhunter@TweetingGaruga Its a nice idee, but light weapons are already full of dodges/counters so it would remove the penality for getting hit and make it bigger for heavy weapons. They could make it so that if the monster is enraged, the mount is scared and can't call it? Think that balance it?
@Chudacabra Lao is it true that they're letting you snort the same coke they gave to zinogre in Rise and make you zoom around the arena at the speed of sound?
@CartoonTock@MH_Oldhunter@TweetingGaruga I meant mostly on the accessibility of it, like making it not able to pick you up when you're down (wirefall was fine for rise, but in mainline I think it doesn't fit), or having to be sheathed to call it. But its true, the controls aren't bad
@CartoonTock@MH_Oldhunter@TweetingGaruga Yeah lol they are absolutely useless outside of that and the pathfinding (which I don't dislike, some locales are pretty labirynthical) they could absolutely be retconned and removed with 0 impact
@CartoonTock@MH_Oldhunter@TweetingGaruga It would be nice but since the scoutflies already sniff the monster it would overlap if the mount did too. World tracking, with palamute control (no auto), and maybe change bird only shortcuts to have a wedge beetle or something so the hunter can use them too? What do you think?
@MHBrasil I wish they would shut the fuck up after the first hunt and just let you hunt like its Gu, 4U, or just add the option to completely disable tutorials
But Nadia saying that you're keeping gog's power in check is pretty handy so I would keep that
@ES4613424423 Maybe a young variant that doesn't know how to camouflage yet, so instead it releases a blinding light? And instead of poison it inflicts waterblight since it still doesn't have his toxin sacs? Would it be cool?
@MH_Oldhunter@TweetingGaruga@CartoonTock Lastly sorry if I'm doing this wall of text, but I do agree that tracking the monster again would be nice. In rise it was okay since it was more fight oriented, but World's tracking with less scoutflies or even paintballs should come back
@MH_Oldhunter@TweetingGaruga@CartoonTock With bad design I don't mean being bad or doing no damage, I mean gameplay design that makes things unfun, frustrating, or make you only use a small part of the moveset (example: savage axe's loop, GL full blast spam, IG's move that removes extracts I think)
