The American Red Cross has identified the Mastic and Mastic Beach communities as being a vulnerable area for those needing smoke alarms within their homes. May 1st, our dept, joined by the Mastic Beach FD &Suffolk County FRES will be hosting the Red Cross 'Sound the Alarm' Event.

Today, Sunday May 7th, from 10am to 2pm the Moriches Bay Marine Incident Response Team and Suffolk County Police Aviation and Marine bureaus will be conducting a joint water rescue exercise in Narrow Bay east of the Smithpoint Bridge.
We are here to support Frank, his wife, and two daughters, along with his entire family during his time of recovery. Frank is always willing to help someone in need and now is the time for us to do the same for him.

On June 16, 2022, Life Member with 30+ years of service with the Mastic Fire Department and FDNY Firefighter Frank Hall Jr. who is assigned to Ladder 15, was seriously injured due to a fall while on duty he has 22 years of dedicated service with the FDNY

8:15a this morning, the dept was alerted for a structure fire on Seaford Ave ,Upon arrival of Chief Sunderman, smoke was pouring from the home.A working fire was transmitted. 1st due units hit the hydrant & used hose lines to attack a basement fire.TY to all agencies who assisted
