Classic Hawaiian Pizza combines pizza sauce, cheese, cooked ham, and pineapple. This recipe starts with my homemade pizza crust and is finished with a sprinkle of crispy bacon. It's salty, sweet, cheesy, and undeniably delicious! Hawaiian pizza is underrated 🍕🍕🍕

The story of the Hawaiian Pizza, invented in Canada by a Greek immigrant, who was inspired by Chinese food to put a South American ingredient on an Italian dish, that went on to be most popular in Australia

All the light and electricity in this photo is powered by a single CANDU nuclear reactor(*)

Each fuel bundle lasts a full 1-2 years before replacement, w zero emissions

These reactors can run on natural uranium, thorium, or even spent fuel from US-based reactors

Pretty epic!

[Matt Loszak | Aalo Atomics @MattLoszak]

(*) Disclaimer… The actual electrons in the Ontario grid at this moment were 60% from nuclear. But a single reactor powers roughly a million homes, so colloquially I think this tweet is fair!

It's so good to see they saved this old girl from the scrap pile. 🚢

The S.S. Keewatin, an Edwardian-era steamliner older than the Titanic, arrived in Hamilton on April 29. Tugged by Molly M and Wyatt M, it drew large crowds on the transit route. Now at Heddle Shipyard for restoration, it will eventually move to its permanent home in Kingston.

@TVMartinRoberts Put as much of his ashes into his urn as you can. The rest you can scatter at his favourite park location, like mountains or coast.

These guys are caught with radar, good luck taking that to court. They are guilty, they fly up and down my street at 130kmh, it's a 40 zone. If they wipe out all our rates will go up, we all have to pay. I can drive at 40 why can't they. They are the problem.

[Sparky @Sparkycat69]

@MatCooke363 @HRPSBurl Why would they? The guy hasn’t been convicted of anything.

[JMC @MatCooke363]

A ticket will only show up if the insurance company runs a check. They rarely do that unless you change companies. Most convictions go unnoticed, but if racing modifications are done and there is a crash, the insurance company might deny the coverage.

[Melinda @bryansmom]

@MajerlyAnnoyed @MatCooke363 @HRPSBurl Not always. My SIL’s stunt ticket (reduced to 49 over) never has affected his insurance.

[Majerly___Annoyed @MajerlyAnnoyed]

@MatCooke363 @HRPSBurl It does, thankfully. If not right away, at renewal. Even my wife’s 10 over ticket showed up. For stunt drivers, the most expensive part is the insurance renewal. 👍

I wish they would pass this info on to his insurance company, but they never do that.

91 km/h in a 40 zone got this brand new car impounded on Longmoor at Inverary today at 3:30pm. Using “Track Mode” bypasses the normal muffler system creating a #NOISEMAKER that got the driver additional Improper Muffler to go along with Stunt, 14day Impound,30day Suspension ^mu
