I discovered today that my home server was offline. Then I saw this power usage chart...and I was pretty scared. PSU decided to burn itself, hopefully there was no damage to mobo and, what is more important to raid disks.

So you know, do (and test) backups. I was lucky today.

It turns out that this #hp #probook has express card and build-in smart card reader. But it's really build-in. You cannot remove or...insert it without removing all case. Which I didn't expect 😖😖😖

I was fixing #HP #ProBook 6570b last night with little help. All of this because broken power button. At the end disassembly was not that bad as I thought.

Turned out that was was a broken plastic moved in a way that cannot be clicked or fixed. No soldering this time.

So after a while #rg35xx back to me but unfortunately without @jpolgesek #debian port (cause now it will be used by my other friend). Unfortunately original SD card seems to be already dying so I'm replacing it. An also it's super sloooow...

#Messenger lite was for me a compromise between "I don't want messenger on my phone" and "I need it bc of some ppl" after #facebook removed messaging option from mobile page.

Now it would be discounted... So I guess is time to find alternative or just try don't use it at all...

Got a new toy today! It's #Anbernic #RG353PS, a handheld game console running #linux full of emulators. It has pretty good feature set, and overall build quality is really high. Let's make it even better by booting #Debian on it!

Little upgrade from Pi2B to Pi3B cause need of x64. But hey, I'm not so despair to buy Pi at current prices. This one was bought some time before pandemic for about 20$ which was a good price then. The trick was that it had this little "hat" from unknown device.

We got this #unitel and it's cutee! Basically a rebranded #minitel, manufactured by Alcatel for polish market. Connected via serial to a #linux machine by @jpolgesek. Sloowly loading @polprogpl website with #lynx. Any nice looking text websites which we can load on it?
