i've had plenty of time to think this over.
maybe even too much of plenty of.

the reason everything has went to shit, for decades, mainly the past few, is that we have too many Choices now and too much Competition.

most people can't handle so many options rationally. nor do they need to or want them.

my side bar would be that we don't have or teach anything about Impulse Control or Logic and Reasoning.
