@JCrossover curious: if a team plays with physical intent at the beginning of a game and doesn’t change their focus, it basically forces a referees hand into calling the extreme physicality only, correct? That’s how I’ve preached to my players defensive work.

Would having NBA referees have to answer to a public forum or post-game help or hinder their relationship with athletes and teams? Some of these referees over the last week look ready to snap. The back-and-forth at the professional level is non-stop.
