I was honored to co-host and moderate this timely significant deliberation on the war in #Ethiopia, especially #Amhara region, and its impacts on the #HOA region. The PM of #Abiy has declared a “state of emergency” in that region after clashes and confrontation between the #ENDF and Amhara militias/#fano was witnessed.

Two prominent and towering figures @faisalroble19 and @HassanKeynan2 were the Keynote Speakers.

We discussed om how the already fragile region will be a primary victim for this conflict.

Also we deliberated on how #Somalia’s phase two war against #AS will affect if #Addis engages in internal conflicts while it’s one of the troops- contributors to Somalia. There are 4000+ in Somalia under #ATMIS. In addition to, does the new conflict is a prequel and sequel to #Tigray war.

Five (5) dedicated hours a week have led me to milestones to develop basic skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. I made my first TV interview on @ArlaadiMnetwork TV, thanks to the encouragement from Mr. Ali Shujjac. While there's much to learn, I find inspiration in our nation's unity and diversity. To my fellow @Somali youth, let's study and celebrate all the variations that make us a perfect and harmonious nation. Learning our cultureand heritage, embracing our homogeneity and diversity, being unashamed of mistakes, paints a landscape as spectacular as our our @Somali culture. #EmbraceUnityDiversity 🌺

I have talked about the immediate Coup in #Niger, and implications for the #Sahel region, #ECOWAS, the #AU, and the international partners, especially #France as former colony with closely 2k soldiers in the ground.

The ousted president #Bazoum, is the first democratically elected president two years ago since independence from France in 1960. I have touched also the potential proxy war between #US and #Russia as the local people have been waiving the Russian flags and calling the name #Putin.
