If you tie down any land animal and torture it physically. The phonetics of their speech is often universal. Consistent among most mammals. Certain manners in which we react that we cannot control. If the elephant could grab a knife to attack me back to ensure the safety of its own well being would it be rational to do so?

Given my personality Noah was able to predict my reaction that night. That I’d forget and once I did nobody would remember. He wasn’t surprised the morning after. He acted casual.

Hegel was a Napoleon dickrider who merely elaborated on schellings work and surpassed him in status when they weren’t even his ideas. If Napoleon was defeated by (in Hegel’s own words) “mediocrity” then one can assume Napoleon must have been mediocre himself. Greatness doesn’t fall to mediocrity now does it? Majority of the “great” philosophers of the 17th and 18th century were verbose. I’m reading Hegel and these thoughts could be explained in a far more concise manner, also the vernacular they chose to use was targeted towards the educated. This rhetoric would not work outside of academic settings. It’s pompous.
