spotted some 10 year old boy with an arsenal havertz shirt in a piss town in germany while wearing my shirt too and he beamed, let go of his mum’s hand and badge tapped at me😭😭PRECIOUS
The World Cup is the only tournament where you’ll randomly remember a player you haven’t thought about since 2006 because why am I thinking of David Trezeguet this morning
i actually have post parade depression😭 19th May - 31st May what a movie, arguably the greatest 2 weeks of my life. after how much of an emotional rollercoaster this season has been I thought i’d enjoy the break but I actually can’t wait for Arsenal to be back already
As a kid, the World Cup was my actual geography teacher. You’ll be 10 years old casually learning about different countries, flags, and continents just because they’re in a group stage group with your national team. Best tournament on Earth. The Olympics too had that effect ngl
I can’t wait for the World Cup man. Guys are gonna be doing over analysis on Curaçao’s box to box midfielder and Uzbekistan’s false 9 like their some tacticos 😂😂
You’ll see random pictures of Arshavin supporting Arsenal every year since he left. Dude never gave any interviews, just kept supporting the club like a proper fan. Top guy.
If EVERY VAR call was changed to the correct decision, Arsenal still would have won the Premier League ahead of Manchester City, with 81 points. [@TheAthleticFC] 🏆 ✅
If you’re an Eagles fan there’s no need to fret, we have Devonta Smith & stellar group of complimentary pieces that can give any nut ass defense hell. 🦅
Emmanuel Petit on Premier League clubs mocking Arsenal after the final defeat:
🗣️ “I have to say, I found it embarrassing.
The second Arsenal lost, some Premier League clubs couldn't wait to jump on social media and remind everyone about their European trophies.
That tells you everything.
Instead of supporting an English club representing the league on the biggest stage in club football, they were busy celebrating Arsenal's pain.
For me, that's not rivalry. That's insecurity.
Arsenal were 90 minutes away from doing something special, and rather than show respect, people were desperately searching through the history books for old trophies to post online.
Why? Because they were terrified of seeing Arsenal join that club.
Let's be honest, some of these clubs spent the entire season watching Arsenal compete at a level they couldn't reach.
The jealousy was obvious.
The moment Arsenal fell short, they treated it like they had won something themselves.
That's the mentality of people who would rather see Arsenal fail than focus on their own success.
The trophy may have slipped away, but the reaction from some rivals showed exactly how much Arsenal still live rent-free in their heads.”
