How Not to Be Wrong: The Power of Mathematical Thinking เขียนโดย Jordan Ellenberg

[Merriam-Webster @MerriamWebster]

‘Radical’ comes from a Latin word meaning "root."

Because roots are the deepest part of a plant, ‘radical’ came to describe things understood as fundamental or essential.

‘Radical change’ was a change at the root of a system.

Abdul El-Sayed won on Medicare for All. Troy Jackson won on Medicare for All. James Talarico supported a public option he labeled "Medicare for Y'all." Everyone in the party should back healthcare for all. It wins everywhere and more importantly it is the right thing to do.

[✯ Luxe ✯ @luxeprogressive]

I have a plan to get Medicare for All passed.

1. Pass in House and Senate
2. Send Abdul to the Oval Office to meet with Trump
3. Trump examines his body and his ass and his biceps and falls completely in love with him
4. Abdul tells Trump if he signs the bill we can call it Trumpcare. Like Obamacare but better and he can take the credit for it. Statues built in his honor
5. Trump says okeyy Abdool I’ll do it hehe

So being anti billionaires, anti war, anti AIPAC and anti data centers is now the moderate position. Welcome to the big tent.

Los Angeles doesn't belong to AIPAC, Los Angeles doesn’t belong to Crypto or Big AI, Los Angeles doesn’t belong to corporate real estate developers. It belongs to us.

Workers deserve more. We deserve real representation and respect and I think it’s time that we get it. Thank you, CA-34!

NEW poll: A supermajority of Jewish Americans believe Israeli & AIPAC actions increase antisemitism.

80% say Israel’s actions in Gaza & the West Bank increase antisemitism in the US.

66% say AIPAC’s campaign spending against candidates critical of Israel increases antisemitism.

Mamdani announced $122 million to hire 1,000 more teachers in 2027. No wonder they say socialism is so terrible: our tax dollars go to our schools instead of endless foreign wars.

A striking stat re AIPAC performance in the midterms. In 2022, almost 70% of its funds went into races where it got the desired result. In 2024, it was 87%. In 2026, that figure is 34%.
