Dude my freaking dumb bitch mom wants me to get off the computer and live a normal life. She doesn't even know the basic tenets of the blackpill she's so freaking retarded
one of the smartest people I know (academically, socially and career-wise) has an uncanny ability to hyper focus on what needs to be done while ignoring unimportant details. I once asked him who the governor of California was and he had no idea.
Training your neck is one of the highest ROI things you could do for your looks
I’ve started training neck 4x/week and will be documenting the progress
I moved to Stockholm 2 weeks ago and on my 10 min walk to the Lovable office I casually pass Spotify, Klarna, Northzone, Legora and a bunch of startups being built in between.
Sweden might actually be cooking.
Hiring in tech is very hard right now because the top 5% of companies are fighting over the top 1% of people.
These companies can’t afford to lower their bar because AI has so greatly widened the productivity gap between the 1% and 5% of people. Plus the space these companies are in is so fast, ambiguous, and fiercely competitive.
At the same time, AI has made all the old ways of evaluating talent completely irrelevant, and companies are having to adopt entirely new and uncalibrated evaluations.
Suspect this story is playing out at each level roughly linearly (top 10% of companies fighting for top 5% of talent, and so on)
I left Germany at the age of 18 for a reason. I miss my family, I miss my friends, I miss Döner Kebab, but German bureaucracy & begrudgery kill the ambition of every kid who wanted to build or achieve something extraordinary, before they ever get the chance. Germany will never know what it lost, because none of it was ever tried.
In 2014 I got hired by a top Germany company because of my excellent interview performance, long work history, and top 1% standing on coding competition sites
130k EUR salary + 30k EUR signing bonus
German government rejected my visa because I didn't have a high school diploma
Hi everyone 👋
Excited to share that I joined a US-based startup last week as a full-time SDE fully remote.
One week in and the learning curve is already skyrocketing.
Getting real responsibility working on infrastructure and also involved in backend.
Enjoying it a lot so far.
Huge thanks to @kirat_tw
This started there. Followed him a lot,
Then joined the 0-100 cohort ,
learned consistently, and jumped into DevOps from there.
January 2025: 0 internships.
August 2026: cracked 4 internships at US-based companies, all while working remotely from Dehradun.
Crazy how much can change in ~1.5 years.
Still feels like I’m just getting started.
A 6’4 Chad who works as a janitor at a McDonald’s in a crime infested strip mall will receive more genuine desire from women in a week than a man under 6 feet with a master’s degree, an 800 credit score, and his own house will receive in his entire lifetime.
Life is brutal
Grinded DSA for 3 months - May to July. Got a on-campus internship on my birthday (coincidence eh?). Didn’t even got asked DSA (but was needed to clear OAs). Mainly questions were from System design and Concurrency.
I am back now after a month break. lfg !!
