Le programme officiel du NSDAP (1920), proclamé par Hitler lui-même et déclaré "inaltérable", contenait :

Nationalisation de tous les trusts (point 13)
Communalisation des grands magasins (point 16)
Confiscation des profits de guerre (point 12)
Participation forcée aux bénéfices (point 14)
Expropriation foncière sans indemnité (point 17)
Abolition des revenus non gagnés par le travail (point 11)

Le Mémorial américain de l'Holocauste (USHMM) qualifie lui-même ces points "d'anti-capitalistes, similaires aux demandes des mouvements socialistes et communistes allemands de l'époque".

Une fois au pouvoir, Hitler a mis en place :

Contrôle total des prix
Contrôle total des salaires, gelés au niveau de la Grande Dépression
Contrôle total du commerce extérieur (Plan Schacht 1934, 25 autorités de contrôle qui validaient chaque contrat)
Allocation étatique des devises et des matières premières
Plan de 4 ans (1936) sous Göring, planification soviétique de l'économie
Reichswerke Hermann Göring, conglomérat d'État géant qui employait 600 000 personnes en 1940 et était la plus grande entreprise d'Europe
Erbhofgesetz, interdiction faite aux paysans de vendre leur terre, attachés au sol
Suppression des syndicats indépendants, remplacés par le Deutsche Arbeitsfront étatique
Travail obligatoire (Reichsarbeitsdienst)

Hitler en 1942 sur l'industrie privée : "Si l'industrie allemande me dit 'nous ne pouvons pas', alors je dis 'très bien, je le ferai moi-même, mais ce sera fait'."

Hitler en privé sur Staline : "On doit avoir un respect inconditionnel pour Staline. À sa manière, ce type est un génie."

La pierre angulaire du programme, en lettres capitales dans le texte officiel : "Gemeinnutz vor Eigennutz", l'intérêt commun avant l'intérêt particulier. L'antithèse exacte du libéralisme.

L'aile ouvertement socialiste du parti, menée par Gregor Strasser et Ernst Röhm, voulait pousser plus loin la "deuxième révolution" anticapitaliste. Hitler les a tous fait assassiner lors de la Nuit des Longs Couteaux en 1934, non pas parce qu'ils étaient trop socialistes, mais parce qu'ils contestaient son pouvoir personnel.

"Mais les industriels ont financé Hitler !" Mythe amplifié par la propagande de l'IIIème Internationale (thèse Dimitrov 1935). Les travaux de Henry Ashby Turner ("German Big Business and the Rise of Hitler", 1985) ont démontré que les financements industriels au NSDAP avant 1933 étaient marginaux. Les grands industriels soutenaient les partis modérés (DVP, DNVP) jusqu'en 1932.

Et après 1933 ? Hugo Junkers, refusant de coopérer, dépossédé de son entreprise et placé en résidence surveillée jusqu'à sa mort. Fritz Thyssen, qui avait soutenu Hitler, fuit en 1939, biens confisqués, finit en camp de concentration.

Joli eldorado.

Comme l'écrivait Hayek : nazisme et communisme sont deux espèces du même genre, le collectivisme. Le mécanisme étatique est identique, seul le critère d'exclusion change. Marx voulait éliminer "la bourgeoisie", Hitler voulait éliminer "les Juifs et les races inférieures". Dans les deux cas, le moyen est l'État total.

Le nazisme n'est pas l'allié du capital. Il en est le geôlier.

C'est un socialisme. Un socialisme racial, criminel, génocidaire, mais un socialisme.
