Today marks the 158th anniversary of James Connolly’s birth. Connolly was a revolutionary Irish Republican, a leading figure in the working-class movement, and an early Marxist.
Today marks the anniversary of the death of the Hungarian philosopher György Lukács.
He was a controversial thinker within the revolutionary movement. In his home country, the memory of him and his work is now obscured.
