you become an operations person whether that was the plan or not.

sales, product, hiring, support, finance. there's no "that's not my department" when you're the whole department.

turns out the thing i spent 8 years accidentally becoming is the thing i actually want to do next.

quick version of me: ran an edtech startup for 8 years. did cancer genetics research before that. co-built a 30,000 person community helping students get into professional schools.

now i'm in a transition. figuring out what kind of work i want to do next, probably in operations.

i have a lot of thoughts from the last decade that never made it out of my head. going to try writing some of them down here.
