I personally don't dislike these closed pilot programs, but having to know that it's selective towards specific users rather than based on skill is rather demotivating.
I've been denied in so many ways by this platform that it's hard for me to have hope for it as a developer.
Not gonna name names, but for a closed pilot program, it is really disappointing to see users who have the privilege of being in it uploading backgrounds with images off of google and copyrighted material, when there are so many genuinely talented artists who would have loved a spot in the program
This one was an amazing project to be part of.
Had the chance to bring this Meccha Chameleon experience to life for the latest MrBeast video, all done in just two days!
With the help of some awesome people along the way. #mrbeast#meccha https://t.co/yPgfHL4DhM
im having so much paranoia constantly looking at my gmail just to pray that i get that mail from roblox whether im accepted to the program or left out not told permanently for months to come until it comes out public
@Crypticinvest1 At the end of it, the definition of being a "developer" is a general term. it's up to the person that looks at you to decide whether you are a developer to them or not.
Those who entitle themselves to define a developer in a different way generally just have high ego.
@SirDapper I've honestly been waiting for quite some time, I've made a lot of maps in the past and many could really be great background renders for people to insert. I'm just hoping to get some attention so I can get the chance to get in. 🙏
The problem with this is that Roblox is basically an identity. A kid gets to know in some way or form a general trend of the media like games or an account that holds memories. A game vibecoded like this has potential, but generally looks away from real problems.
I vibecoded a safer Roblox for my son
He’s not allowed to play Roblox because we don’t know who he’s talking to
So I created a version where he plays obbys
The game is populated with recordings of other play throughs (giving the illusion of playing with others)
And there’s even a chat from the bots talking to each other. He can talk with the bots and they chat back using chatgpt
5/7 Ceiling
Entire thing is painted with placed parts and simple meshes. It tells the life story of St. John Nepomuk.
That was the hardest part of the entire build, especially as it's all flat while appearing 3d with the perspective tricks.
