Lesotho is painfully behind as a country, πππ The financial system..????? ππ Haibo guys what is Central Bank of Lesotho doing for financial evolution??? I'm speaking on behalf of All Basotho Entrepreneurs who are trying to expand their e-commerce businesses across borders, our financial system feels like it's still very much in the stone age, When will They create a conductive space that platforms us to be able to expand in this very much digital era where a lot of businesses thrive online???
We do not have necessary payment getaways of our own for us to be able to Recieve different payments in different currencies on our websites guys!!! For months iv been trying to work on an e-commerce website but very much stuck on just this one little puzzle that can only limit payments in Lesotho only.
Do you understand that for us to actually have broad functioning websites that allow this broad integration means we REGISTERING our BUSINESSES AS EXTERNAL BUSINESSES IN OTHER COUNTRIES FROM THE GET GO THE MINUTE YOU TRY CREATE A WEBSITE WHERE We CAN BE ABLE TO ADVANTAGE OURSELVES FROM THEIR FINANCIAL SYSTEM??!!! Which is another financially exhausting Muscle and long administration process, PAYING LOTS of TAXES IN ANOTHER COUNTRY that isn't ours and helping their economy boom while the one our country crumbles!!! Na hona le nako e re tla ba le a seamless international Trade ka boemo Bo bonolo ba marang rang hleng Batho Ba Molimo???!! ππππ
@SejanamaneMafa@KbzFire@Kay405Kay Late June or early July unless the minister decides to extend the term of the current by three months based on what is happening.
@SejanamaneMafa@KbzFire@Kay405Kay In other news, I am going into Council. I was serious about taking a seat at the table to engage on what we want to achieve in the short & long-term.
@AgonyFromWithin@Lengau_11 If you already appreciate ntate Motanyane as a chilled character then it's a good read that confirms how measured a character he has always been.
@mofolo_mofs@KbzFire@Kay405Kay Ke Sesotho ka nnete. Re tlo le habola lesheleshele la judgment ena joang kapa joang NUL. I just hope only NUL will pay the price & not the broad society. I can't shake the feeling that the price to be paid by the judiciary might be higher. That argument on bias has implications.
@Kay405Kay@KbzFire My interest is on NUL. While the session is ongoing for all in need of justice who will be left acting as VC at NUL? Judgement seems to suggest only him has a right to act or am I overreaching?
@Kay405Kay@PolokoMokhele_@KbzFire A professor doesn't make for good aesthetics in my opinion. I guess I truly hate how we sometimes forget that perceptions alone can be dangerous. Kapa litsebi tsa PR le reng?!
LNFOD joins the nation in celebrating the 50th birthday of our esteemed Patron, Her Majesty Queen 'Masenate Mohato Seeiso. π
We are grateful for Your Majesty's unwavering support & commitment to the dignity, rights, and inclusion of persons with disabilities in #Lesotho.
@KbzFire@Kay405Kay I am also curious about the impact this judgement has to the credibility of the court of appeal. The court was literally between a hard place & a rock. I hope this risk was truly calculated because the cost to pay is high if at all we loose trust in the judiciary
@KbzFire@Kay405Kay While I accept the judgment I am curious to know what is going to happen come the October session? Does it mean the acting VC will not be able to preside as a judge in the court of appeal because he can't technically leave NUL in limbo if we haven't concluded recruitment of VC?π€
