We've gone from trusting the club's stance to swallowing rumours & think pieces from the very people/journalists who were so vocal in the media, who penned hundreds of articles about Citeh being expelled from English football, stripped of our titles and the owners forced to sell the club, and now we're meant to believe them when they say the punishment won't be as harsh as they (or anyone) expected?
