An Open Letter to Chinese Companies, Asian Brands & Investors

To every Chinese company, Asian brand, telecom investor, or technology company looking for an opportunity to enter the Nigerian market:

Please, come and save us from these network providers.

Just look at what happened in the banking sector. When traditional banks failed to properly serve millions of Nigerians, companies like OPay and PalmPay came in, brought competition, improved accessibility, and changed the way people transact.

We need that same disruption in the telecommunications sector.

Nigeria needs more serious network providers and more competition. Once Nigerians have multiple reliable alternatives, these existing network providers will no longer be able to treat customers however they want.

Because honestly, how on earth am I supposed to pay ₦125,000 for 800GB of data, only for that data to be exhausted in 21 days?

At this point, it doesn’t even feel like I’m using the data. It feels like my data is being stolen from me.

We need a company with the resources, technology and courage to come into Nigeria and say:

“Enough. Let’s build a network Nigerians can actually trust.”

Bring us affordable data.
Bring us reliable internet.
Bring us transparent billing.
Bring us real competition.

Nigeria is a massive market. Come and compete. Millions of Nigerians are waiting.
