@HabsChronicle The only reason I can see us being involved is if we flip him to a team that is a good trade partner for us but they didn't have the picks to get it done.
@The_Creasy Does the rhetoric around Columbus room i.e content with losing the last few years worry you in regards to bringing in their former captain?
As well as I have not heard one piece of info of Don Waddell attempting to keep him.
@HabsLaughs I think both can be true at the same time. Kent is persuasive so probably had Brad agree to his deal. At 2h59 Brad probably walked it back and said Hage needs to added in place of prospect X, thus making the time run out.
@RiseFromTheAshZ Although it didn't work out for them per se, Montreal is poised to make a Dubois to LA type deal where they can package a few NHL ready roster pieces and futures to get the best player in the deal. Just gotta make sure you're not parting with a Vilardi type player ๐คฃ
@ArtfulProcess@mndamico Have to think environment plays a factor. When you can enjoy outside the rink as much as in, probably a big plus for players. Apparently his mother has moved in with him and she's enjoyed the culture just as much. Comfort can go a long way to performing your best.
@JohnnyBold10@EricEngels This im not so sure. Sounds like Dach will play in the Florida weekend so maybe its some Sedgewick concocted to maximize dollars somehow
@ScottMillican71@EricEngels Further, Laine has the longest return date, getting closer to the deadline. If you place him on LTIR you cant accrue Cap Space on his $8.7 million being paid out daily.
@ScottMillican71@EricEngels Would just buy them time. When Guhle and Dach come back they get activated and then you can put Laine or even Newhook if you want to balance the checkbook. It allows you to kick the roster decision (there will need to be one when everyone is healthy) down the line.
@PKSubban1@NHL@CanadiensMTL I can't believe we were fed this narrative you both didn't like each other. Love and miss this friendship on my ice surface ๐ตโช๏ธ๐ด
