@almonk@tldraw@poolsideai It reminds me of https://t.co/1NbEIzQXN2 days. Love (and miss) the limitations that force thought and action over configuration and tweaks. Wasn't there another early UI app called Blackbird (or something) as well?
@jamestplunkett I keep thinking (perhaps first triggered by End State) the same. Another revolutionary GDS-like push is whatโs needed, with a UCD focus on procurement and policy rather than just/predominantly UI. A redesign of the tending process wouldnโt go amiss also
@keano81 Signing up to the others has felt very defeatist and futile tbh. Please do pop a link in your bio if/when you jump and feel you have more to say though ๐ Threads needs more like you in particular
@vickytnz The swimming image reads right to me but the squirrel one needs switching I think. We (identifying as the interaction designer here!) are the reds. Those greys are coming for us. And no lie, but as I wrote this look who was watching me outside!!
@vickytnz very much enjoyed your post here https://t.co/4N13AAASdn but I think youโve got the squirrel metaphor the wrong way round. Greys are the โnewโ species killing our resident reds.
Which reminds me of the ironically named https://t.co/BuGCRzLbrp (publishers of Life in the UK study guides) set up by a talented (grey squirrel) Kiwi founder!
@dvc Same, but recently started. Like just now at Le Shuttle with this trend of making you wave your hands under mirrors, only to find after soaping that thereโs no water
@andybudd Would love to hear some examples of these opinions. Say, 5 that you think failed and 5 that exploded. Genuinely interested to thoughts like these
@mymind Ah that makes sense. Thanks. Signing in on desktop now and I see everything. Good luck with managing features across platforms. Looking forward to watching you progress (with fingers crossed that my dream features make the cut one day). Thanks again
@mymind hello. Been playing with and enjoying the app. How do I actually pay for it!? Iโd love to try the reader mode also but links about it in the app seem dead
