How IEBC Chair will announce the final Presidential result in the 2nd Tuesday of August 2027, a beginner's guide.

1. Forms 34As will transmitted electronically from the PSs and will be accessible in the online portal at the NTC [ new Bomas building]

2. The Constituency Returning Officers will physically deliver the form 34As and form 34Bs to the Chair.

3 The Chair will then verify the physical form 34As vis-a-vis the form 34As submitted online. In between, Chair will also look into 34Bs. Verification, entails checking whether the ROs correctly prepared form 34Bs. Sometimes, ROs make mistakes when moving data from A to B.

4. Chair will then prepare form 34C.

5. Chair will then confirm if the person who has emerged winner has met the threshold in the Constitution. If yes, he declares the person the winner and issues him with form 34D. Explains why Chair must be a lawyer.

6. If there is no winner, a run-off election will be held.
