La propagande russe tente désormais de transformer l’impasse en “victoire”, voire d’expliquer qu’une défaite pourrait malgré tout être bénéfique pour la Russie.

On est passés de “Kyiv en 3 jours” à “même perdre, c’est peut-être gagner”.

Impressive results, indeed. Even at a dayly rate of 1% of fuel and other supply vehicles destroyed, after 70 days half of the transport vehicles fleet will be eliminated according to mathm.probability. In reality it may take longer as alternative routes and smaller, more civilian looking utility vehicles will be used, electronic countermeasures will be improved to some degree and a certain amount of Ru. trucks will be transfered from other regions.

A good litmus test for the efficiency of Ukr. sewering supply chains to Crimea would be the end of any civilian availability of gasoline outside of strategic enterprises and emergency services.

Btw, such comprehensive restrictions on the private civilian use of gasoline had been imposed as a precaution by German authorities already at the outset of WW2.

Apparently Ru. authorities in occupied territories want to maintain a minimum of normal civilian automotive mobility at any rate even If such "indulgence" comes at a mil.price.

Out of more than 115 gas stations, all have introduced fuel dispensing exclusively by coupons for the first time since the times of the USSR.
