Afande @mkainerugaba I want to pull my mustache to be like yours. Should I inbox you for guidance? Meanwhile, I argue the youths to involve themselves in planting trees to reduce the impact of climate change.

Investing in renewable energy creates three times more jobs than fossil fuels.
@IEA estimates that by 2030, 5 million fossil fuel jobs may be lost, but 14 million new jobs in clean energy could emerge, leading to a net gain of 9 million jobs.

Environmental education is thriving in Rwenzori!
@RajeoUganda, our host organisation in the region, teamed up with @youthgogreen & St. Theresa Girls S.S to teach pupils about the vital role of trees.
Through hands-on activities, they gained skills to drive #sustainability.
@RajeoUganda, @YCCUganda, @youthgogreen and St. Theresa Girls S.S conducting Environmental Education in schools in Rwenzori. Pupils were taught the importance of trees, how to plant and grow trees in their communities.
A Clean Energy Revolution!
In #WesternUganda, @RajeoUganda is turning knowledge into action!
They're producing smokeless briquettes—a cleaner, affordable, and eco-friendly alternative to charcoal & firewood.
This cuts indoor air pollution, lowers costs & protects
After receiving training from @YCCUganda, @RajeoUganda is now producing briquettes to replace charcoal and firewood usage in western Uganda. Our briquettes are smokeless and less costly, these improving indoor air pollution and reducing home expenses
With over 80% of Uganda’s population still relying on biomass, as their source of energy for cooking, there’s been a rampant increase in deforestation rates.
Promoting the adoption of sustainable cooking practices such as electric cooking; will reduce the demand of firewood and charcoal and significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Household air pollution is still a big problem to our mothers & children in rural areas in developing countries. This does not only affect their health but our environment too as they use very poor cooking methods that consume a lot of firewood @MathiasClimate@YCCUganda
Finding an alternative to the cruel biomass. Our briquettes burn longer (between 7 - 9 hours of active burning) and produces no smoke, making them fit for our mothers and sisters

Women and children are the most affected humans in regard to climate change. More so, energy poverty is causing more harm in rural communities. Through @YCCUganda, @MathiasClimate and @RajeoUganda are fighting the negative effects of energy poverty in #rwenzori communities
All young people can play a role in the energy transition and waste management regardless of their skills, passion and background @RajeoUganda@GayoUganda
