@nazzaokonkwo@stanleyy2k7 Everyone is complaining about this. I have sent three unreplied emails in the last 10 days, and have now resolved to visit their office in Abuja, before the end of the week.
@itsmrkemji I find developer-mathematics quite strange. They want to sell more buildings hence cram so many buildings into tight spaces when fewer, better-designed estates could sell?
Now we’ve got a cluster of buildings practically swearing at each other, yet they’re labeled “luxury.”
@Maaryam_Ado The beneficiaries of these allocations should be ashamed of themselves. Why would any conscientious person accept an allocation that is so clearly antithetical to the public good? That strip of land has become one of Abuja’s most utilized communal spaces...this is very sad.

@officialsaskay@Mr_Justgentle The choices are not clear-cut for countries like Nigeria because of our strategic interests with the US on one hand, and China & the EU on the other. It becomes a delicate balancing act to avoid antagonising any of these partners by appearing to support either Ukraine or Russia.
@realsultanoa@NigeriaStories AEPB doesn't remember anywhere. Abuja has never been this dirty. Uncollected waste all over the city, including wuse 2. For Gwarimpa: it's on its way to becoming West Africa's largest slum.
@Verse_Shom Khalil, I think we had our first computer lessons in 1994 actually (about 3rd term JSS 1)...after which we often played Qbasic Gorilla game and Prince of Persia.
@Onsogbu@Talk2Dennison@EkeDavid01 City authorities should be proactive and replace the metal manhole covers with plastic (GRP) covers. No one will steal those.
The severity of Nigeria’s unfolding food crisis is felt most acutely in cities, but the solution could lie within them too.
Read my thoughts on why urban #food systems must evolve to reflect the rapidly changing spatial and demographic patterns across Nigerian cities.
@4eyedmonk@GovWike The intention is great, but the execution is rubbish. This endangers the pedestrians.
Designing bicycle/pedestrian lanes shouldn't be an afterthought. The lanes ought to be clearly delineated.
