In another alarming attack on parental rights, California authorities seized the teenage daughter of Alexandra Lyashchenko, a Ukrainian Orthodox Christian immigrant, after she refused to consent to her daughter's gender transition. The state is now moving to put the girl up for adoption. Lyashchenko, who has spent nearly $500,000 in legal fees fighting the case, says California deemed her family "culturally unfit" for refusing to mutilate their child. Her family has since fled to Florida to protect their younger son from state seizure.
I think I just had an aneurysm.
You want to talk tone-policing & mean girl feminism???How about pigshit-thick EDI libfem bullies who for YEARS ostracised, hounded & helped rob clever, principled women of their livelihoods because they objected to men in women's prisons?
@stellacreasy We just can't believe a feminist would want to make it easier for men to access women's spaces. Given that 99% of sex offenders are male and women have been fighting for spaces away from men since Elizabeth Fry fought to end mixed sex prisons. 🤷♂️
"AB" Hernandez finished the season ranked #4 in the entire nation compared to girls in the triple jump.
Compared to other boys, he was tied for #3,053 with 15 other boys.
@Bob_cart124 As a lesbian, I am really happy that you’ve all come out of the closet and been so honest about your homophobia. For some reason, a lot of people —particularly on the left — had no idea. Thank you.
Not a single MP identified anything the Code got wrong about the law in the Commons statement on Monday. There was just lots of whinging about the fact they didn’t like the law. Well, you’re MPs. You’re in a better position than most to campaign to change it. I and other feminists will oppose you every step of the way though.
@stellacreasy Stella, simply put the code is not law. Therefore it’s not apt for Parliamentary scrutiny.
Please could you tell us what your objections to it are? It must be either that you think the Code has got the law wrong, or that you think the law is wrong.
Update: I have heard from people who have heard from Serena. She is ok! She is out doing life stuff that requires her full attention. She is looking after her mum. She says she will return some day! But she’s ok!!
Yay!
I love how much everyone loves each other here.
@Baroness_Nichol Anthony George Stephen Halliday (later known as Stephanie Hayden) was convicted in 1999 of indecent assault on a 14-year-old boy in 1997, receiving a £600 fine, £150 costs, and 5 years on the sex offenders register. Also convicted of affray in 2002 for a 1999 assault.
A cell layer that has developed to protect your body from the outside doesn’t work like a cell layer that has developed to protect your body from the inside.
The cells lining my vagina are not the same cells, and they don’t have the same function, as the ones wrapping your penis.
There’s a name for what happens when you subject dry-adapted “outside skin” to wet-adapted “inside conditions”.

It actually has shocked me just how many men have been resenting women's advances into the public sphere over the last century and have grabbed this opportunity to 'punish' us with their whole being, and how many women are helping them do that.
Star Boy pigeon-toed triple jumper, Hernandez, ends the season as the 3053rd placed boy, yet he receives garlands as the number 4th placed (faux) girl.
His leveraging of bogus "gender" has been an outstanding success.
He should feel thoroughly ashamed of himself.
An ignoble lad.
You know what? If men stay out of women's spaces there's no problem.
But for some mysterious reason your side seems to think it's impossible for transwomen to simply follow the law.
Why?
#LetThemSpeak
@stellacreasy That is what Hansard reports and it's on camera - perhaps you should issue a correction? It isn't our fault we reported (accurately) what you said.
To be clear, are you saying that you meant to say you want to repeal parts of the EA2010 that protect women?
