To anyone moving this summer and having the nerves of changing settings, just go with it. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn’t. I’ve experienced both to some degree, but so glad I kept going as every once in a while you find something truly special. Happy Summer hols all!

Just finished my first year at my new school - this is the 5th school I’ve worked at in my 20 years. It’s been an amazing year and am so pleased to have found a school that feels, put simply, just right.

So proud of the pupils & staff at my school today for GCSE results. Lovely to see pupils being rewarded for all their hard work. Was also my final day in my school before I take up a new post in Sept - laptop, lanyard and keys handed in. Just cleared my inbox - a rare sight!

Turns out this Maths geek can still write an essay after all, as after 18 months I have today officially passed my NPQSL 😃. Completed with the Ambition Institute via the @JTTShub whom I can totally recommend. What a lovely start to the summer holidays!
