Good morning. Sorry for the inconvenience, but due to a boiler issue that we have been unable to get resolved this morning, school will be canceled today, Friday, January 21st. The building will be open for any students who arrive to school and need a place to stay.
It seems like a lot longer than 5 months ago when students were last in the halls of @MatignonHS. In Tuesday, these halls will welcome students back and we can't wait!
What has been lost on me during the events of the past week is that a 17 year old high school student had the courage to video the murder of George Floyd. Students can change the world. I am more humbled now to work my hardest to help all @MatignonHS students find their voice

While not surprising, today's announcement by @MassGovernor is disappointing to all of us who hoped to be back in school as a community this year. It is important that we understand the importance of this decision and continue to do our part to keep our community safe.

I told faculty and staff yesterday that after all the successes, accomplishments, and hard work over 70 years to date, that because of their efforts, when the history of @matignonhs is written, in the immortal words of Winston Churchill, it will be said #thiswastheirfinesthour
@MatignonHS Remote Learning plan goes in to effect today. This plan is the result of over a month of planning and extremely hard work on behalf of our faculty. I could not be prouder of the Matignon Community and we will get through this together!
Per the request of @CSOboston, Matignon High School will be closed until March 30th. Specific information will be sent to students and parents regarding next steps for virtual learning.
