We are introducing body worn video cameras to help keep crews safe and enhance service delivery to our communities.

From Monday, these cameras will be worn by Operational Firefighters, Community Safety Officers and Fire Safety Teams.

On 21 March, a Derbyshire fire engine was involved in a single vehicle collision. As previously reported, 1 firefighter was seriously injured & 4 others sustained minor injuries.

Sunday evening the stop message went in for Win Hill. This incident lasted 6 days and took a lot of resources away from the community. Well done to all the firefighters involved, control staff and partner agencies. All this was because of a camp stove @DerbyshireFRS #bemooraware

Come on people, help us out here!You’ve seen the news & all the fires due to the heat so why would you think it’s acceptable to take a camp stove or portable bbq into open spaces when its tinder dry! Both were found at #WinHillEdge at #LadyBower where crews saw others bbq’ing! 😡
