From on-campus, to off-campus, the Clark School offers a variety of pre-college summer programs open to all K-12 Marylanders, designed to introduce them to STEM and engineering concepts and career pathways: https://t.co/fTFooVYEr0
The STEM/App-AI Summer Camp interns are on a roll ๐ As part of their preparation for the camp, they built a rover (from scratch!) and programmed it to autonomously find its way out of a 'room' by following a simple obstacle avoidance algorithm. Camp starts next week!
We are so honored for the opportunity to send @MattScassero off to retirement with a bang! Thank you so much to everyone who planned, participated in, and attended the celebration. It was such a special day.

We had a great time at #MarylandDay! People tested an object detection algorithm (it did successfully identify a dog!), saw our robotic eyes that follow your movement, and learned about the other research we do at the lab. Thank you to everyone who visited our table! @ClarkSchool
The MATRIX Lab's new short course focused on printed circuit board (PCB) design will be offered this summer! This six-day course offers a unique, valuable opportunity to combine classroom and hands-on learning. Learn more and register now at https://t.co/IKBB81j7pe
Autonomous systems can partner with humans and take on the least desirable, most dangerous jobs. @MatrixUmd trains students to adapt to autonomous systems, tackling tough jobs and shaping the future of work. See how engineers are driving this innovation: https://t.co/FTCExVfCsa.
Outdoor research doesn't stop just because it's cold! Our Director of Test and Evaluation of Autonomous Systems is out on the water conducting research with @NAVAIRNews, @gwuengineering, @UofMaryland, and @NavalAcademy. That's the Bay Bridge in the background! ๐ฅ๏ธ๐
We are excited to bring back our research internships for undergrads! Students have the opportunity to contribute to a great project already in progress, or work on their own! Learn more and apply now at https://t.co/kI2FxRPDN2
