@JSchuoler I agree, formula 1 has had g force sensors for years that trigger a response that varies based on force. I don’t see why nascar would have any issue implementing it, might not be feasible by next week, but Daytona would be a good plan
@Calebcoole53741@JoshuapBoston99@DanielKriete4@NASCAR Unless they can somehow get a fairly big name for the 6 (which I don’t think there are any out there) there is no reason to run preece as an open. I know they said that was the plan, but plans change and it’s financially better for them to move the charter vs running as open
@Buddybosse77@dperrell93@BrakeHardBlog As a Blaney fan, I agree w you that Blaney wrecked himself, kinda. I feel
Like both could have done things differently, Blaney could have given him the inside, and Hocevar could have lifted the 1 second of lift that would have avoided the contact. I would give Blaney most blame.
@TripodsNtheWild@RealRadman Which is probably worse for Hocevar than Blaney as he is likely to find himself in another similar situation before end of year
@TripodsNtheWild@RealRadman I’m just saying they both could have made slight adjustments to avoid the incident. From the way it sounded in the radio, Hocevar was faster than Blaney anyway at that point. The only thing that might come out of this is now they will likely be on probation til the end of year.
@KnipeDrums@EricEstepp17 I’m a Blaney fan, and that was as much on him as it was the 77. Hocevar isn’t costing nascar fans, as he races like the guys did in the old days when they weren’t there to make friends only to win races. In your final point, Blaney would never do that as thats a auto suspension.
@0riginalPremium@RabbitRun3333@Kenny_Wallace Got rained out so now they use a metric to set the field that is based off combinations of things. I don’t think anyone know the exact formulation. I do agree w others that should set based on points like they used to
@Cradtm95@NASCAR BK isn’t gonna do anything anyway. He’s not the same driver he was 15 years ago when he was making the same “mistakes” that Hocevar makes.
@cyboman5150@chrismyshack I haven’t heard of air packing in the cup series since they went to the Nextgen car. I didn’t think it was possible to do anymore.
