I condemn the arrest and detention this afternoon in Mutare of my long standing friend, fellow lawyer and former Cabinet Minister Tendai Biti.
His crime? Speaking out against Constitutional Amendment Bill 3!
Why is Zanu PF so paranoid about pushing these amendments through using such illegal, authoritarian and unconstitutional means? It clearly knows that it does not enjoy the support of the overwhelming majority of Zimbabweans.
@EcoCashZW@econetzimbabwe has your ecocash services been hacked because the way people are losing money via Ecocash l am no longer confident n feel safe sending money via this platform. My granny lost USD400. It's high time people use @NetOneCellular or other service providers
URGENT APPEAL: Help Save Prosper’s Life
Greetings Bahlali🙏🙏, hama dzinodiwa, my name is Marvellous Tshuma also known as Queen of BaTonga, l come before you with a plea donations towards our brother Prosper Zvumbwa, a 44-year-old man with albinism who lives in Zvishavane courageously fighting a life-threatening skin cancer on the back of the neck. He is currently admitted at Zvishavane Hospital, but doctors have advised that he urgently needs to be transferred to Parirenyatwa Hospital in Harare for specialized treatment and care. Prosper is in a highly critical condition that he is even now too weak to speak, and doctors say he is also in desperate need of blood. We are making this heartfelt plea for donations to help cover transport and medical costs so Prosper can reach Parirenyatwa Hospital and receive the medical treatment he so urgently needs. Time is not on our side. Every little bit helps whether it’s fuel money, blood donor connections, or even sharing this message. Together, we can help save Prosper’s life, no amount is too small. Our target for now is to raise at least $400.00.
If you are able to assist in any way, please contact: +263 783 098 732 or email on [email protected]
Thank you for your compassion and supporting the Albinism Konnect Skin Cancer Prevention Program.
May God Bless you
Please help get Tapiwa his kidney transplant, he's the brother of a good friend of mine. If you can't afford to donate please repost!

Today is June 27, a very sad and painful day for all Zimbabweans who voted for political change on March 29, 2008 — a day we should memorialise the many Zimbabweans killed in 2008 to keep ZANUPF in power.
Robert Mugabe and ZANUPF lost the election to Morgan Tsvangirai and his MDC-T party but refused to accept defeat, launching a bloody and violent post-election campaign that killed over 300 people mainly in Mashonaland, Manicaland and Masvingo.
I was the first journalist to capture this brutality on video in Buhera, alongside the MDC-T parliamentary candidate Julius Magarangoma who had taken me there to see the scale and obscenity of the violence. My footage became the first warning to the world of what was to come.
The Robert Mugabe regime, through the Central Intelligence Organisation (CIO), had banned me from covering this election, so some of the visuals were taken undercover.
Mugabe was forced on the country on June 27, 2008 after a sham one man election because the masterminds of this violence, Emmerson Mnangagwa and General Constantino Chiwenga, knew their path to power was only possible if Mugabe remained in office.
I directed, filmed and produced this one-hour award-winning documentary, A Violent Response, which captured the senseless violence that followed.
I post it here for all to remember this painful event that took place in our country — without any consequence at all.
Let this film stand as a witness for the dead, a cry for the broken, and a reminder that silence in the face of evil is complicity. We must never forget, and we must never forgive those who bathed our hope in blood.
A Violent Response, filmed, directed and produced by Hopewell Chin’ono.
[1/2] 27 June 2025 is the 17 anniversary of ZanuPf’s 2008 brutal terror campaign that saw thousands tortured, killed and displaced internally and externally.
Please repost in honor and remembrance of the peoples’ heroes who paid the ultimate price for an INCLUSIVE and DEMOCRATIC ZIMBABWE FOR ALL.
Share their names to keep alive the demands for Justice for victims of @ZANUPF_Official gross human rights abuses.
In 2008, Robert Mugabe’s chief elections agent @edmnangagwa led a ZanuPf terror campaign against Zimbabweans perceived to be members & supporters of the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC).
We keep demanding justice and saying out names of victims for they are not mere statistics; they are our brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, fathers, mothers, neighbours and fellow patriots who paid for our freedom with their lives.
We see continuations of terror today as human rights abuses continue through abductions, torture, targeted political arrests, political prisoners and exiles.
In this post are names of those who were murdered only as the ZanuPf government declared war against fellow Zimbabweans all in pursuit for power retention. Note that these are only names of those killed. thousands more were tortured & crippled.

🔸In Zimbabwe, journalism is a crime. You can actually face jail time that exceeds what a court would order for someone guilty of a real crime. The Constitution gives everyone the right to bail but the goons don’t respect the rule of law. Instead, they’re working overtime to outdo Robert Mugabe and Ian Smith in the repression Olympics. It’s a mess.
We need new leaders.🇿🇼
a) In 2020, two Zambians were chased from a Chinese restaurant in Lusaka claiming they don’t allow blacks inside.
b) In 2019, a Chinese beat up a Chief in Zimbabwe
c) In 2022, a Chinese poured urine on a Namibian in Windhoek
We need to start getting tough about our politics !!
Morning people of Zimbabwe
This is Madzibaba veshanduko's son
Let us all pray for him
@ChangeRadioZW thank for Standing solidarity with Godfrey Karembera
Will never lose hope in the leadership of HE President Advocate @nelsonchamisa
Thank you @LynneStactia
They attacked his rural homestead for no apparent reason whatsoever and nearly killed his children. We haven't heard how far they have gone in investigating and arresting the perpetrators of such a heinous act.
We are in full solidarity with what happened to your family, Madzibaba Veshanduko. If you were just some nothing, they wouldn't have done that to you and target your family. Only cowards target families of activists and not face the political actor himself. Be strong, Madzibaba!!!
I am very concerned to hear that @bbmhlanga is ill and am praying for his recovery and immediate release from detention.
His continued illegal incarceration is a massive blot on our Nation.
How have we allowed ourselves to fall so low?
As Zimbabweans we have to agree that we admire the chains that enslave us. Somehow we deserve the misery and suffering. Cowards. All of us.
* Demonstrations - we don't want we will get killed.
* Stay away- we don't want we will lose our income.
* Elections-we don't want we are tired.
Why would you say that when there is-
*No running water in our homes
* Massive load shedding.
* Collapsed healthcare.
*Poor transport system.
* Substandard education.
*Corruption.
Why would you say that as the youth when-
* You've never had a bank account?
* Most don't know how to use an ATM.
* You have never signed a work contract.
* You not even aware of labour laws or labour court is.
At this point in time no one must complain about anything, we are all not ready for change.
You all bash Geza an old man yet you the stallions are cowards.
The income that you were saying you going to lose yesterday imarii and do you still have it?
We deserve it all, tenfold
During the Covid lockdown, people stayed in their homes for 21 days, with an additional 7 days later. Hence, today, most Zimbabweans couldn't sacrifice just 2 days for the greater good, giving an excuse for hunger. Never blame Chamisa, Zimbabweans are just cowards.
