@Invested_In_You There’s so much math not going on here. For starters.. the interest paid needs to be discounted to today’s dollars (way different number). Do they plan on staying at their home forever? What are the plans for retirement? Do they have all basis covered? Estate plan? Etc

@endless_frank But…. You absolutely can make more than 100% shorting a stock…. Even without puts…. Stock is 100… I short 1 share ($100 received)….. stock drops to $20… I cover…. I spend $20 to make $80… 400% return…
