ai in art is the absolute worst application. i’d rather see a child’s doodles than ai. you can use it as a tool for eliminating rote tasks, but it should have no influence in the creative decision making process. my humble luddite two cents.

the problem is this is this is how it starts. first it’s “we’re only using it at the concept level” then it’s “we only use it for the final games art” then it’s “we only use it for writing and art”, where does it end if any amount is acceptable?

If you're using AI to write essays, eulogies, a text to your wife, I do think less of you as a person. Ceding your mental and creative abilities to a machine is an embarrassing thing and people should be ashamed to admit doing it in public.
