I'm "in nature," but I am on a public footpath. Would I be more "in nature" if I strayed off this path and walked among this habitat mix of wildflower and seed? Surely, to do so would be nothing more than a selfish, human-centric act?
It’s often suggested that hunting might in some way be damaging to young people but in reality, there’s no better way to teach children to respect the natural world and to give them a sense of the true value of food. My latest for the @TheCriticMag https://t.co/k5rJeEyIsK
If you find yourself feeling guilty after buying cheap meat from the supermarket, I highly recommend heading out at dusk in a small boat, with a pocketful of cartridges, when the wind’s howling. It’s not the easiest way to put goose on the table but it’s probably the most ethical
The SNP's @MargaretFerrier must resign as an MP. Obviously she is very stupid, but surely she is just about able to work out that her position is totally untenable?
This is the most common wildlife crime in the UK - its also something nobody speaks of, nobody campaigns on, no celebrity social media films - whether its deer or hares - its not "hunting" or "shooting" folk - but people chasing animals with cars and dogs 🤬🤬
Am really disappointed in the very clear class-war on shooting. I'm a very normal person, not at all posh, & can very comfortably say that my shooting will involve fewer people, at a further distance, than my amateur netball league that restarts next week
How can this country stand by as Churchill’s statue is defaced again, yet the rest of us will be fined if more than six people meet together? Boris better get a grip and fast.
