One LinkedIn interaction led to $24,000 in new revenue for an agency using ProspectZero π₯³
Saloman had been tracking LinkedIn content from 10 other agency competitors who's founders post often on LinkedIn.
Every time a lead engaged with one of their posts, ProspectZero captured the users LinkedIn URL before scoring that lead based on the signal type and ICP match.
One of these leads in particular had been a customer of Soloman's competitor for 8 months, and was not pleased with the results.
Soloman booked a call, and closed a 12-month, $24K contract within 3 weeks, unseating the competing agency.
None of this would have been possible without one little LinkedIn reaction.
Soloman wouldn't have reached out in the first place, and probably wouldn't have gotten a response even if he did.
We built ProspectZero this way for a reason.
You don't want to target your whole TAM. Just the 5-10% who will actually buy.
Signals are the future of cold outreach, without them you're just competing with hundreds of other vendors targeting the same buyers.
met a guy making $24K/month and he's never sent a cold email in his life
no instantly. no smartlead. no ads. no content funnel.
just cold DMs on X and LinkedIn.
that's it.
he sends maybe 15-20 DMs per day per platform. not 500. not 1,000. fifteen.
and his reply rate is 38%.
average cold DM reply rate: maybe 10% if you're lucky.
his is 3.8x higher.
here's what he does differently:
he doesn't DM strangers.
he DMs people who just mass-told the internet what they need help with.
his process:
step 1: he follows 50-60 founders and VPs in his niche on X and LinkedIn
step 2: he watches what they post. every day. like a hawk.
step 3: he waits for the signal.
the signal is any post where someone publicly admits a problem:
"we're struggling to hire senior devs"
"our churn is killing us this quarter"
"onboarding is taking way too long"
"just lost another deal to [competitor]"
"if anyone knows a good [thing he sells]... DM me"
founders post stuff like this constantly. they can't help themselves.
they tweet their problems at 11pm like they're journaling.
and nobody treats it as what it actually is:
a buying signal with a timestamp.
step 4: he replies to their post with something genuinely useful. a take. a resource. a quick insight. no pitch. just proof he actually read it.
step 5: 2-4 hours later he sends the DM.
the DM is always the same structure:
"hey [name] - saw your post about [specific problem]. we just helped [similar company] fix exactly that. cut their [metric] by [result] in [timeframe]. want me to send over what we did?"
that's it. three sentences.
no "i hope this message finds you well" no "i noticed your company is growing fast" no "we're an AI-powered platform that leverages xyz"
just: i saw your problem. we fixed that same problem for someone like you. want the details?
here's why this destroys cold email:
cold email = you're guessing what someone might care about based on their job title and company size
cold DM after a public post = you already know what they care about because they just told you 6 hours ago
you're not interrupting them with a guess.
you're responding to something they voluntarily shared with the world.
it doesn't feel cold. it feels like a conversation.
last month his numbers looked like this:
personalized DMs sent: 746
positive replies: 235
calls booked: 54
deals closed: 9
average deal size: $1,200
revenue: $11,800
from scrolling twitter and linkedin for 90 minutes a day.
while everyone else is burning $3K/month on sales tools and sending 10,000 emails into spam folders, this guy is closing deals from his couch with his phone.
the best part?
every single prospect he DMs already knows who he is. because he commented on their post first. publicly. adding value.
so when the DM hits their inbox they think "oh it's that guy who had the smart reply earlier"
not "oh great another random pitch from someone who bought my email off a list"
that's the difference between 2% and 38%.
you're not cold anymore. you're warm by the time you DM.
and the tools required to do this:
twitter account (free)
linkedin account (free)
@ProspectZeroAI $99/mo
your eyeballs
90 minutes per day
the ability to read a post and write three sentences about it
total cost: $0/month
the $38K/month podcast email guy is smart. but this guy might be smarter.
because he doesn't even need to find anyone's email.
everyone's DMs are wide open.
the deals are in the feed.
If you're still pulling lists from Apollo or SalesNav, I feel sorry for you.
ProspectZero found over 17,000 custom intent signals for one customer last month, and we only let 683 leads through.
That's less than 4%.
Quality smashes quantity every time when it comes to outbound, especially w/ LinkedIn.
Results:
63% Connection Acceptance
38% Reply Rate
24 Meetings Booked
This level of precision is what AI Agents were made for.
It's been a big week for @ProspectZeroAI, and thanks to Claude, we've shipped multiple new features including...
New lead workflows:
While our bread and butter is signal-based lead capture, customers have been asking to import other lead sources for ages.
-Have a list of MQLs? Event Attendees? Website Visitors?
-CSV -> ProspectZero
-SalesNavigator Search Results-> ProspectZero
Improvements to AI-generated messaging:
- Additional context provided to AI models for every intent signal, lead, and company.
- Fine tuned prompting for different messaging steps (Icebreaker, Follow-Up, Final Message)
Upgraded team workspaces:
-Admins & Owners can now view & control instances of team members.
-Ownership of a workspace can now be transfered.
It's amazing what can be done in one short week with AI. What used to take us multiple weeks to ship, now can be done in days.
Average LinkedIn dm:
"Hi Matt, I'd collaborate around aligning our core competencies to drive a mutually beneficial partnership. Let's synergize?"
Average Reddit dm:
@ProspectZeroAI Just shipped two new features in its Signal-based outreach platform.
Multi-LinkedIn account support
- Great for Agencies & startup teams
- Now instead of reaching out to 800 leads/mo users can scale up with as many LinkedIn accounts as they have access to.
SalesNavigator & CSV import
-Users can now run workflows with leads outside of ProsepctZero's intent signal runs.
-Inbound lists, SalesNav searches, website visitors, etc.
Got two more coming next week :)
This is the simplest intent data stack I've seen for B2B startups in 2026. No $100k/yr 6Sense contract required.
With AI + new tools, every startup can now run real intent-driven outbound at scale for under $500/month.
Here's how it works π
The old playbook: pay a massive vendor to tell you which accounts are "surging" on vague topics, then pray you or your SDRs can do something with it.
The new playbook: stack 3 intent layers yourself, route them to reps in real time, and actually close deals.
Here's the framework in 3 layers:
Layer 1: Website Intent (RB2B)
Your website is your best intent signal. Most startups ignore it.
β Install RB2B to deanonymize individual visitors (not just companies)
β Track which pages they hit: pricing, case studies, competitor comparison pages
β Score visits by recency, frequency, and page depth
β Push person-level data into your CRM or Slack in real time
A prospect who hits your pricing page 3x in a week is way hotter than any Bombora signal.
Layer 2: Competitor Review Scraping (Claude Code + Firecrawl)
Your competitors unhappy customers are your best prospects. And now you can find them automatically.
β Use Firecrawl to scrape G2, Capterra, and TrustRadius for 1-3 star competitor reviews
β Pipe the raw data into Claude Code to pull out company names, titles, and pain points
β Claude Code sorts the complaints (pricing, support, missing features, reliability) so you know exactly which angle to lead with
β Enrich matches with Clay or Apollo to get contact info
β Set it on a weekly cron job.
Fresh unhappy competitor customers show up in your CRM every Monday morning
Layer 3: LinkedIn Intent (ProspectZero)
This is the layer most people are sleeping on.
LinkedIn is where B2B buyers show intent without even realizing it. ProspectZero catches all of it.
Competitive signals:
β Liking or commenting on competitor posts
β Engaging with relevant industry influencers
Buying window signals:
β Starting a new role or making key hires
β Announcing fresh funding
β Posting about pain points your product solves
Direct interest signals:
β Visiting your profile
β Engaging with your posts
β Interacting with your company page
A prospect who just raised a Series A, liked your competitor's product launch post, and visited your profile yesterday?
That's a layup.
https://t.co/9M1VfIs6wJ surfaces all of this automatically so you're not manually stalking LinkedIn feeds all day.
If this sounds like too much to set up on your own, don't worry. I got you.
Just comment "INTENT" and I'll send over a full breakdown showing how to wire this up.
Cold outreach is SPAM.
You build a list.
Filter by job title and company size.
And blast 2,000 messages to people you know nothing about.
You get 1% reply rates and wonder what went wrong.
Nothing went wrong. You just sent messages to people who didn't ask to hear from you and had ZERO buying intent.
That's spam with better copywriting.
Here's the reframe that changed everything:
Stop targeting people who FIT your ICP.
Start targeting people who are SHOWING intent right now.
There's a massive difference between a VP of Sales who matches your filters and a VP of Sales who just commented on your competitor's post 2 hours ago.
One will ignore you. The other will reply.
In the last 90 days I only targeted warm leads.
People who:
β Engaged with competitor content
β Posted about problems my product solves
β Started new roles at companies in my ICP
β Interacted with influencers in my space
The results:
Reply rates went from 11% to 45%.
Booked 13 demos in a single week.
Connection acceptance jumped to 54%.
The old way:
Build list β Spray messages β Get ignored β Call it "outbound"
The new way:
Track signals β Score leads β Warm Intro β Book calls
That's not cold outbound anymore. That's warm outbound. And it WORKS.
I broke down the ENTIRE system into a step by step guide.
It covers:
-The 8 buying signals to track on LinkedIn
-How to use the 72 hour freshness rule
-Real message examples with 30-45% reply rates
-How to pull leads from competitor audiences
-The before and after numbers from 60 days of testing

It's almost Q2π³
And cold outreach is offically deceased.
You can't just pull a list from Apollo and expect to get results these days, that ship has sailed.
You need to start running intent-based, WARM outreach.
And here's how:
There are 8 intent signals hiding in plain sight on LinkedIn.
β Liking or commenting on competitor posts
β Starting a new role or making key hires
β Announcing fresh funding
β Interacting with influencers / thought leaders in your niche
β Publicly posting about pain points
β Visiting your profile
β Engaging with your posts
β Engaging with your company page
These signals tell you who is in the market RIGHT NOW.
Not who fits your ICP on paper. Who is ACTIVELY showing buying behavior.
These signals are like little nuggets of gold.
Here's what happened in (almost) 90 days so far in 2026.
Connection rates: 43% β 54%
Reply rates: 11% β 45%
Booking rate: 2% β 7%
MoM Growth: 27%
Almost 70% of this growth came from LinkedIn intent signals.
I put together a full walkthrough covering:
-The 8 intent signals and how to track each one
-The 72 hour rule and why timing beats personalization
-The exact message frameworks that get 30-45% reply rates
-How to use AI to filter and score leads before reaching out
-A real example using a competitor's audience

OpenClaw has been running my X/LinkedIn accounts for the past two months.
Finding high intent leads, creating lead magnets, engaging with my audience. It's honestly a miracle.
Imagine having to manage your own social media in 2026.
Couldn't be me.
But... That's all a lie. It took me 2 hours to setup and I still don't really understand what's going on.
This is exactly why we built ProspectZero, a hassle-free GTM/Outbound agent.
The best part? The AI actually produces.
As a non-techincal guy I wanted to start using agents without digging through a 17 page setup guide.
Sound familiar?
Let AI find high intent leads & manage your outbound on LinkedIn.
Launch your non-technical agent in 5 minutes.
