On January 17, 1993, Jimmy Johnson led the Dallas Cowboys to a 30-20 NFC Championship victory over the San Francisco 49ers, where he famously uttered "How 'bout them Cowboys?!" in his post-game locker room speech
This is the information we have been given from Cowboys insiders...
Trevon Diggs didn't complete his rehab at the Cowboys facility.
His mysterious concussion was initially kept a secret and may have resulted from colliding with a stripper pole.
He was not activated from IR because he had poor practices and was not following the direction of the coaching staff.
He was denied permission to stay in Washington, but did so anyway, so he could go to a concert.
Combine all of this with having one of the worst performances in the league by a corner, and the real question becomes - why did it even take this long to release him? Nobody is picking on him. He's physically not a good player, and he's mentally a huge headache for the team.
