Today at GitHub we're rolling out a new issues search in preview.
In internal testing, the average list position has improved by 39% with the new semantic search in addition to returning more matching results.
@tobiaslins@RhysSullivan It's only rolled out for a subset of navigations at the moment - should be fast from any repo /issues page. DM me (or post here https://t.co/ldHubn0j4J) if not and we will get it fixed

@ocornut@github This actually looks like more a recent regression, we did have this limit in place for a while but were able to remove it. We are figuring out why it is back...
