“Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.” Matthew 25:40
Does this mean: as you meet the needs of Christians you meet the needs of Christ?
No. Christ is not needy.
It means that as you count other believers more significant than yourselves, you are counting Christ more significant than yourself.
“In humility count others more significant than yourselves.” Philippians 2:3
What happens when you move from knowing about God to knowing God?
“O Lord, I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees you; therefore I despise myself, and repent in dust and ashes.” Job 42:5-6
