It is concerning to see that this coach does not seem to have the health and safety of student-athletes as a priority.

Any reasonable coach would hope that this hit is called targeting so the player stays on the field and not in the training room.

No one shows up rooting for the refs.

But even more reason to help in these situations.

Literally millions on the line and so many camera angles.

Why not just get it right, instead of wondering what if?

@themaxedwards29 I’m thinking similar to football where if there is a fumble and they rule the player down, but there is a clear recovery, the other team gets the ball if it was a fumble.

This could happen here as Samford clearly gains possession after.

I always hate when a pundit, like Dean Brandon, gets on the air, and says “that’s the wrong call”.

Like why don’t we do anything about it?

Playoff spots and money on the line with these.

Being a ref is a tough job.

But that makes it even more obvious to be able to “review” calls like this.

Penalties should be challengeable.

People will say it’s subjective but when immediately it’s clear it’s a bad call, it needs to be rectified.

Intentional grounding completely stops that drive. HORRIBLE CALL. There is zero part of this that is. He was trying to throw to receiver. Mixon is right where ball lands. And he gets hit while throwing. They NEVER call that when getting hit. @bengals getting robbed by officials. And @chiefs need all of it.

Also, I get that it’s their “thing” to have their tweets start with a lowercase letter, but I feel that injury/cut/signings tweets should be exempt from that.
