Concluding her travels around the Americas, Shemara met with @NYCMayor Eric Adams at City Hall, sharing Macquarie’s commitment to New York as the hub for our growing presence in the region.
Opportunities emerging from US climate and energy policy were a key topic for a discussion with US @ENERGY Secretary, @SecGranholm [pictured]. Shemara also met with newly installed Australian Ambassador to the US, @AmboRudd.
In Washington DC, Shemara met with Senior Advisors to @POTUS, @SteveBenjamin46 and @MitchLandrieu46, in the West Wing of the White House to discuss Macquarie’s climate and infrastructure capabilities.
It was an honor to help coordinate many of these high level engagements between Macquarie CEO Shemara Wikramanayake and government and private sector leaders in the US and Latin America.
While this was a huge lift for our team, Shemara’s visit to the Americas was a big success!
Macquarie has been innovating and investing across the globe for over half a century, and a large part of that success has come from the Americas. Last week, our CEO Shemara Wikramanayake visited the region to meet with stakeholders from the markets in which we operate.
