@loudibella@ProBoxingFans Being an entity in the States hasn’t been relevant for years when it comes to boxing. Simply can not produce any good heavies and the incredibly talented fighters, no one outside of die hard fans have heard of them. USA’s impact on boxing has long gone.
@Ricky4238894065@IFLTV@anthonyjoshua@davidhaye Now? 😂 Haye’s long retired and his body is absolutely broken at any sort of competitive level.
Back in the day, yeah I’d have picked Haye too. Fast, good chin, explosive, quick reflexes and great power.
@TDW_17@Boxing_UK_ He can fight, you just don’t seem to understand not everyone can be Premier League standard. He’s Doncaster Rovers.
You’ve still got to be in the very, very small percentage of people good enough to play for pro for Doncaster.
@KandPMC@Boxing_UK_ Correct. It was just really poor matchmaking - but he was offered decent money and of course he’d take it so if the aim is to make £££ rather than win, fair enough.
Would have been good to see him in here with a decent but beatable name - like he did with Lucas Browne.
@phat_tok @stokedsport Brook was wasted potential, I’d agree. He just couldn’t get the proper fights at the proper time, his talent was wasted. He was almost in the wilderness for a while in his prime.
