@GabyUrrutia247 Out here in California. Stanford is selling group tickets (qty 15 minimum) at $105/ticket at the 50-yard line, Miami side. I only need 2 personally, but if you know anyone looking to go and secure early tix, dm me.
@TomFornelli BYU had another data point to prove they could get in. If ND was in that same position and as “hot” as they claim to be, they could’ve won and got in.
@Insidetheirish Irish beat them way back in week 6. That’s so long ago right. Completely different team and they would beat the Irish now. Is that logic right?
@rationalNDfan Every tiebreaker in competitive sport when records are the same is head to head. Why should this one example be different? Oklahoma is ahead of bama. Texas ahead of Vandy without the same record. Same for previous years too.
@JohnMassingale4@irishillustratd 1. valuing losses over wins is a losers mentality.
2. Not all “bad losses” are the same.
3. Dominant 10 games? 25-10 against 2-8 BC I wouldn’t say is dominant.
4. Head to head in any competitive sport is the deciding factor in a same record.
@GrantSpeaks1 @GabyUrrutia247@MiamiCanes1971 for those who say head to head isn’t good enough… 11/1/25 was the date Miami lost @ SMU (8-4 team that was a CFP team last year)… the same date where ND struggled at 2-8 BC (1 FBS WIN vs Cuse). So spare me w/ the ND being the hottest team take.
@johncmharris@MiamiCanes1971 They do sting, and it took 4ints from Louisville to win. Louisville and SMU both sit at 8-4 and not ranked. Iowa at 8-4 is ranked. I would say both those teams have better wins than Iowa. Rankings are conference biased, often subjective. Head to head is an objective measure.
