@VicLombardi https://t.co/ToN670TNnk I could see teams doing this more going forward. If you’re gonna get called either way, might as well foul him hard 🤷🏼♂️
Padres last 7 games:

They're looking to complete the sweep vs. the Mariners on Thursday.
@SwipaCam We’ve seen guards avg 30 pts/gm plenty of times.
We’ve NEVER seen a player lead the league in rebounds AND assists (while averaging about 28 pts/gm).
This award should be Jokic’s in a landslide.
Bobby Portis believes Nikola Jokic deserves MVP, but doesn't think he'll win the award 👀🏆
"Nobody gonna vote for Jokic because he already has 3 of them and they probably don't want to give him 4."
@BPortistime | @MichelleDBeadle | @ChandlerParsons | @TeamLou23
This is NOT an MVP debate. The MVP voting is silly and slanted at times. This is just an observation:
A center just finished the season as the NBA leader in assists and rebound average (1st time ever) and 7th in scoring.
A center did that.
A center.
Paul Pierce says there’s a better chance of scoring 100 points in a game than leading the league in assists and rebounds:
“We’re never going to see a season like this again from no one else ever in the history of the game.”
(via @NFGShow, h/t @NBA__Courtside)
And it still won’t matter.
The whole, “SGA should get MVP because he’a led his team to the best record” argument is hilarious to me.
Jokic had the #1 seed when they gave it to Embiid lol stop moving the goalposts.
It’s become a narrative award.
Nikola Jokic is on the verge of something the NBA has never seen 👀
With 3 games left, he leads the league in BOTH rebounds and assists per game 🤯
No player in NBA history has ever led both categories… even across different seasons.
