@dividendology Also, in some sense(s) Buffett is overrated. Because it was really one of his lieutenants (I forget if it's Todd Combs or Ted Weschler) who was behind Berkshire's initial investment in $AAPL. And Warren has even admitted such. Remember, for decades Buffett shunned tech stocks.
@dividendology If you compare Buffett to Bruce Flatt over the relevant time period (ie. the last 25-30 years), I'm pretty sure that Flatt blows Buffett out of the water.
@LenHochberg If in the end Tiger develops a little humility, then itโs not such a bad thing (is it?). Iโve always believed that with embarrassment/humiliation comes some humility. We can only hope that Tiger will take away the positive(s) from his situation.
@AlanShipnuck, I must admit that 10-15 years ago I was looking forward to the day when Phil Mickelson gets honored with the Payne Stewart Award. But after everything which has transpired over the last 5 years I now understand that such probably won't happen anytime soon.
@mukund I bought my initial position for $122 per share on 3/29/21, so yes. Therefore I've ridden the stock all the way up to $480-something per share the following August and all the way back down to its current 52-week low of $22.29 which came about 9 months ago
@DavidGFool, so I added to my previously beaten-down position in $MRNA on 7/17/26 at $61.63 per share. After today, that's a spiffy pop, and nearly a spiffy 2-pop. Have you or anyone else you know ever had a spiffy pop after only a month?
@dividendology as long as one's concerned about total return, then I can't say that I like $ACN at this time. Because would companies developing their AI strategies really choose $ACN over experts in the field? At a minimum, it seems that the company's pricing power is likely to be diminished.
@DavidGFool do you still hold the stock of whatever company it was whose CEO took you & your wife bowling (or maybe it was for drinks) after its annual shareholder meeting one year? and how far did you have to travel to attend that shareholder meeting?
@dividendology Well @dividendology, I know that at least 3 of those 4 businesses (Disney, Nike, and Target) decided to engage in 'woke' political activism. And their market caps have suffered accordingly.
