@iDrSunny This is ridiculous. How can this be justified as reasonable. I would have assumed anyone getting a distinction was in the very top scoring proportion which is clearly not true.
@drbenwhite I’m 8 years in and would be fairly happy with that (substantial increase in my pay). Looking forward to retiring 13 years (probably more) sooner than expected especially.
@AbbieTutt Don’t feel the need to justify this, everyone’s situation is different. While I would love everyone to not cross the picket ultimately people need to be able to pay bills, and F1 is particularly bad with debt and terrible pay. Hopefully the strike fund will help offset.
@issywalker @AbbieTutt This isn’t how strike deductions are calculated, it should be 4/30 of your pay for April lost. Plus the impact is less than this as tax / pension will be reduced and the strike fund will be running. Still a lot of money for many but hopefully better than you were expecting.
@zackferguson It is ridiculous, plenty of important debate around how these professions fit into current systems and impact upon junior doctor training but this kind of behaviour has no place. I will take a referral from anyone who can give me the necessary information to make safe decisions.
@BellaRoscetti Not so much cabin but a week or two later loads of European cities are beautiful with Christmas markets running and all the hot spicy wine you can drink. Thinking Belgium, Germany, Austria etc and often prices not that bad. Prague and Copenhagen also beautiful around then.
@MillenniumEU was intrigued at the room service menu in Chelsea FC. The bowl of chips are listed as vegan but seem to have a lot of non-vegan allergens. I assume this is because you cook them in the same oil as animal products - are they vegan then?
