Congrats to Celia Neilson for being named to the Boston Globe’s Super Team.
For her, it truly was one of the best seasons in the state and in Fenwick’s history 👍👍
Let’s give a shout out to the globes D3 coach of the year @FenwickGBball One of the best to do it and no one else I would have wanted Caitlin to play for and learn from!!
Masconomet rallied by Salem, 13-8, with Benjamin Linehan driving in 4 runs. Jacob Sofronos 8 Ks over 4 2/3 shutdown relief innings.
Witches got a HR from red hot Sandy Arendall to grab the lead before Chieftains scored 8 in the fifth
Congrats to both Celia Neilson and Caitlin Boyle on being named Boston Herald All Scholastic. Celia had one of the best seasons out of anyone in the entire state and Caitlin has been one of the most consistent players in Fenwick’s history. Proud of them both ❤️
Hi all, we lost part of our family this week in a sudden tragedy.
Dan Boyle was a great man; and a great father, husband, and friend. Please consider helping out his family during this tough time. Thank you 💔

I gotta admit, I’m still a little emotional from last night; but one of the best parts about this is hearing from our extended Fenwick basketball family (and my real family).
The best part about sports is the relationships we build for a lifetime ❤️
Time runs out, and this one is all over!! The Crusaders (@FenwickGBball) stave off a furious rally, and they are now state champions!!!
DIV. 3 GIRLS BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL: No. 1 Bishop Fenwick 49, No. 2 Pittsfield 44. @BosHeraldSports@Murray_Jack_
It wasn’t easy, but in a sense, that was fitting. They wouldn’t have it any other way.
They all agreed it was worth the wait.
“It’s been a long journey,” coach Adam DeBaggis said. “It’s just really sweet.”
Bishop Fenwick captain Celia Neilson today:
Game high 19 points
Game high 18 rebounds
Team high 4 assists
7-for-8 from the free throw line
MVP performance in her team's biggest game in a decade.
Thoughts on @FenwickGBball / @We_Are_Fenwick:
- Celia Neilson was a beast on the boards and had some stellar finishes in a traffic. She always played her best in the biggest games.
- Caitlin Boyle used her size to overwhelm the Generals, but she also helped break the press and passed well.
- Abby Jenkins deserves a big shout-out for being ready to shoot and trusting herself. She hit pivotal shots at key moments.
- Adam DeBaggis called Brittney Figulski the team's most solid player for a reason. Always in the right place at the right time.
- Taisha Castillo, Kyleigh Pidgeon and Reese Spurchise were active defensively @GlobeSchools
